Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work on‑site in Qesm 1st 6 October, ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment across the production lines operate safely, reliably and efficiently. The role involves routine inspections, preventive and predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis and collaboration with other engineering disciplines to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment on production lines.
• Perform routine inspections and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Diagnose electrical faults, update maintenance records and support equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, lockout/tagout procedures and relevant electrical codes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise plant performance and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Solid knowledge of power distribution, motor control and basic industrial automation.
• Experience planning, executing and documenting preventive maintenance schedules.
• Understanding of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures and applicable electrical codes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and use diagnostic/testing equipment.
• Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in shift‑based, cross‑functional teams.
