Finance Manager – Remote

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing DTC wellness brand, is seeking a Finance Manager to own the full spectrum of finance operations for its expanding e‑commerce business. This remote position offers the chance to shape financial processes from the ground up while supporting rapid market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, ensuring accurate postings, accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage bank accounts, corporate cards and daily treasury balances.
• Record and reconcile revenues, fees and adjustments across Shopify, Amazon and other sales channels.
• Oversee inventory accounting, guaranteeing correct COGS and stock balances.
• Own accounts payable, run weekly payments and maintain vendor communication.
• Maintain clean AR and AP ageing reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACA/ACCA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in consumer, retail or e‑commerce with strong inventory exposure.
• Proven full‑cycle bookkeeping experience, including messy book clean‑up.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero or similar ERP systems.
• Experience reconciling sales data in Shopify and Amazon.
• Strong bank and treasury management capabilities.
