Fire Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Fire Safety Supervisor supports the Fire Safety Manager in implementing fire safety strategies across all metro operations. This role combines inspections, training, emergency preparedness, and compliance monitoring to ensure a safe environment for employees, contractors, and passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Fire Safety Manager in rolling out fire safety policies and procedures across departments.
• Deliver internal fire safety training and conduct evacuation drills and emergency response exercises.
• Perform weekly and monthly inspections of fire detection, suppression systems, and related equipment.
• Carry out audits, legal compliance checks, and document fire‑related incidents, near‑misses, and corrective actions.
• Help develop and maintain site‑specific Emergency Response Plans and local fire safety standards aligned with NFPA and the Egyptian Fire Code.
• Promote a strong fire safety culture through inductions, toolbox talks, and staff engagement.
• Monitor adherence to RATP Dev standards, report violations, and participate in safety meetings.

Required profile

• Experience supporting fire safety operations, inspections, and audits.
• Familiarity with fire safety regulations, NFPA standards, and local fire codes.
• Ability to develop training material and conduct safety briefings.
• Strong documentation skills for incident reporting and corrective‑action tracking.
