Global Security Manager

About the role

The Egypt Global Security Manager implements and advises on the security program in line with Global Security standards and direction, and may occasionally advise other organizations across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMA) region. After global mentorship, the role coordinates and implements security operations to protect executives, managers, employees, physical and proprietary assets, and ensures efficient use of personnel and equipment. The position is based in the Cairo Business Office and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain security processes across business units to reduce financial loss, and design strategies to prevent loss of company assets
• Provide travel security advice and support for company travelers, especially on high-risk trips
• Coordinate security operations and respond to criminal loss, sabotage, threats, emergencies, illegal acts and property or environmental crimes
• Research and deploy technology solutions and innovative security management techniques for total asset protection
• Occasionally advise on investigations and build relationships with law enforcement, security agencies and private sector partners, and guide Facility Security Owners
• Brief senior management on security issues and lead regional business units' staff
• Support supply chain partners in logistics, transportation, distribution and storage to uphold security standards
• Carry out periodic risk assessments of personnel, information, infrastructure and business operations
• Support high-impact investigations and projects, complete Asset Protection Rating assessments for the region, and consult on crisis management and business continuity planning
• Stay up to date on geopolitical risks and keep in touch with Security Representatives at plants

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of physical security experience, including CCTV, access control, guard force management, site security design, risk assessments, supply chain security and investigations
• MENA fluency, English and Arabic (Arabic a must)
• Nice to have: niche security management certification, law enforcement experience, and experience networking with law enforcement agencies
