About the role
The Government Relations Officer will act as the primary liaison between the bank and various UAE regulatory bodies, courts, and police authorities. The role ensures that all queries and correspondence are handled efficiently, risk‑free, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage court orders through the CCMS system across the UAE and handle Qatar court orders.
- Process police letters and enquiries from the Ministry of Interior and police stations.
- Respond to email enquiries from Dubai Courts, public prosecution, and CID.
- Work through BPM workflows for police and court correspondence.
- Ensure all communications meet regulatory and authority policies.
- Drive initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government liaison services.
- Investigate and follow up issues with internal stakeholders, including branch managers and unit heads.
- Maintain and develop relationships with regulators and internal technical teams.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of government‑related and functional processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficient computer literacy, especially with MS Office.
