Job description
About the role
We are looking for a postgraduate GenAI Developer Intern to help build production‑grade Generative AI solutions on AWS for telecom R&D. You will work on large‑language‑model services, retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, and multi‑agent systems that support network optimization and knowledge extraction.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver GenAI applications (LLM services, RAG pipelines, multi‑agent workflows) on AWS.
- Develop agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Build and optimise RAG pipelines: document ingestion, chunking, embedding models, vector stores, hybrid search and re‑ranking.
- Implement Model Context Protocol and Agent‑to‑Agent communication for tool exposure and orchestration.
- Manage lifecycle of prompts, policies, tools, knowledge bases, embeddings and model versions, including versioning and roll‑backs.
- Apply safety guardrails, output validation and observability (logging, tracing, telemetry) for secure LLM usage.
- Deploy GenAI micro‑services on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, OpenSearch Serverless) and write Terraform IaC.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, data engineering and product teams in Agile ceremonies.
Required profile
- Recent postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI/ML or a related field.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, software engineering and mathematics.
- Passion for building scalable, secure AI platforms in a telecom environment.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- AWS services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, OpenSearch Serverless).
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform.
- Large Language Model frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Retrieval‑Augmented Generation techniques and vector databases.
- Model Context Protocol and Agent‑to‑Agent communication concepts.
- Observability tools for logging, tracing and telemetry.
- Agile development practices.
