About the role

The Head Baker will lead the bakery operations at the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, ensuring the production of high‑quality baked goods that reflect the brand’s vibrant and iconic style. This role combines hands‑on baking, menu development, and team leadership within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily baking operations, guaranteeing timely and efficient production of all baked items.
• Prepare, bake, and present a variety of products according to menu specifications, recipes, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with management to create new bakery items and seasonal offerings, adjusting recipes as needed.
• Lead, train, and mentor the bakery team, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders within budget, and ensure proper storage and freshness of ingredients.
• Implement and maintain quality‑control procedures to uphold consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and freshness.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe bakery workspace.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a bakery team in a hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of bakery production processes and recipe formulation.
• Ability to train and develop junior bakers while maintaining high standards.
• Familiarity with inventory control and budgeting for bakery supplies.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene best practices.
