Homeroom Teacher (Grade 1)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Homeroom Teacher for Grade 1 to join our partner school, Prime National Schools – Scholar's International Language School. The role involves delivering high‑quality education and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Grade 1 curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress continuously to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
• Foster strong communication and collaborative relationships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues on school development and participate in professional development activities.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a supportive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in primary education or Grade 1.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
