HVAC Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. You will be responsible for developing mechanical design concepts, preparing technical documentation, and supporting the sizing and selection of various building systems. This role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFQs, mechanical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical clarifications, identify missing design inputs, and develop mechanical design concepts.
• Create BOQs, technical submittals, compliance sheets, and offer documentation.
• Support sizing and selection of HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, chilled water, DX, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.
• Perform cooling load calculations and mechanical system sizing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain technical and commercial offers.
• Participate in value‑engineering activities to optimize cost, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Review mechanical layouts to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design, technical office, or presales roles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Good understanding of cooling load calculations and mechanical design principles.
• Ability to read and review mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Proficient English, especially for technical writing.
