I2P Senior Manager

About the role

The I2P Senior Manager leads the Accounts Payable Shared Service Centre, delivering world‑class service to internal finance, procurement and external partners such as suppliers and banks. The role focuses on process innovation, automation, cost optimisation and building strong banking relationships across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day direction to the entire AP team and foster employee growth.
• Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvements in AP processes.
• Drive high‑performance teams, monitor performance against Service Management Framework metrics and ensure SLA compliance.
• Maintain budgetary accountability, control I2P cost centre expenses and achieve savings targets.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, resolve escalations and ensure compliance with Group policies.
• Lead automation initiatives, supporting transformations such as SWIFT, in‑house banking and supply‑chain financing.
• Coordinate audit, compliance activities and internal controls.
• Coach and develop talent, influencing upstream processes for end‑to‑end efficiency.

Required profile

• Recognised professional accounting qualification.
• 10‑15 years of experience managing a finance shared service centre or equivalent.
• Proven track record of implementing continuous‑improvement frameworks (CI, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience with SAP or similar financial systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS and best practices for shared services.
• Strong change‑management and people‑development skills.
