Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements across our real‑estate and construction business units. The role reports to the Internal Audit Manager and ensures audits are planned, executed and reported in line with the annual audit plan and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day execution of internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Guide and coach junior audit staff, reviewing working papers for quality and compliance with methodologies.
• Assist in developing and updating IA foundation documents such as the IA Manual, Charter and templates.
• Contribute risk‑based input to the IA annual plan and focus efforts on high‑priority areas.
• Monitor audit progress, escalating issues or delays to the Internal Audit Manager.
• Ensure proper archiving and document control for completed engagements.
• Support implementation of policies and procedures based on audit recommendations.
• Maintain adherence to professional internal auditing standards and evaluate external service providers when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive internal audit experience, preferably in real estate or construction.
• Hands‑on experience with governance, risk management and internal controls in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate processes such as development, sales, leasing and property management.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Egyptian regulatory requirements for real‑estate companies.
