Junior Buyer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Buyer to join Froneri’s procurement team. In this role you will support the sourcing of raw materials and services needed to produce our premium ice‑cream products, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in purchasing materials in line with company requirements.
• Create, review and follow up on purchase orders to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding availability, delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier performance.
• Support negotiation efforts under the guidance of the Procurement Manager.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Track and resolve delivery discrepancies and quality concerns.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with Froneri policies and procedures.
• Assist in evaluating suppliers and updating the approved supplier list.
• Prepare basic procurement reports and analyses such as spend and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice matching and payment follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics or planning.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
