Junior Storekeeper – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Storekeeper to support our warehouse operations in a food manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials while maintaining strict food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store raw materials and finished goods following company procedures and food safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the ERP system.
• Issue materials to internal departments promptly and accurately.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Apply FIFO principles to ensure proper stock rotation.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health, safety, and food industry regulations.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Assistant.
• Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry (mandatory).
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Experience using ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
