Leasing Professional – Platform

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for its Platform community in Alexandria. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through proactive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness, and oversee smooth resident transitions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials as needed.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for unit inspections and paperwork.
• Ability to analyze market data and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
