Logistics Optimization Manager

About the role

The Logistics Optimization Manager will lead transportation planning and distribution network optimization across MENA countries, including UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, KSA, Kuwait, and Lebanon. The role focuses on defining regional transportation strategy, governance, and performance standards to drive service excellence, cost competitiveness, sustainability, and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional transportation sustainability strategy, reducing CO2 emissions, fuel consumption, and empty kilometers.
• Define transportation planning standards and governance, monitor service performance, and lead root‑cause analysis of major service failures.
• Own the regional transportation budget, develop productivity and savings roadmaps, and lead network optimization projects.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct business reviews, support tendering and contract management, and ensure real‑time visibility through track‑and‑trace solutions.
• Partner with country supply‑chain teams, procurement, and carriers to deliver scalable, sustainable transportation solutions.
• Drive adoption and enhancement of transportation planning technologies such as LOCUS, SAP, TMS, and Track & Trace.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading transportation planning and network optimization across multiple MENA markets.
• Strong ability to collaborate with supply‑chain, procurement, and carrier partners.
• Demonstrated leadership in sustainability initiatives and cost‑management programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
