Stock Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our warehouse team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring product quality across our stores. You will work closely with inventory controllers and store staff to keep shelves stocked with fresh, high‑quality items.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all types of cycle counts (random, hybrid, manual) in stores to verify inventory accuracy.
• Identify SKUs with frequent quality complaints and conduct daily checks to uphold product standards.
• Carry out quality inspections on high‑selling, fresh, and ultra‑fresh items to prevent customer issues.
• Randomly audit packed orders to confirm that pickers follow established packing SOPs.
• Report any SKU or picker‑related issues to relevant stakeholders and help resolve them.
• Investigate root causes of quality, expiry, or damage complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that damaged, expired, or sub‑standard products are removed from shelves promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehousing or quality control, preferably within the grocery sector.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy.
