Logistics & Warehouses Engineer

About the role

The Logistics & Warehouses Engineer oversees warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling to ensure a smooth flow of materials and equipment. The role supports maintenance and engineering teams by managing stock levels, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate asset tracking through warehouse management and CMMS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials, spare parts, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS and CMMS, conduct stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate procurement and logistics to align stock replenishment with maintenance schedules.
• Support civil, mechanical, and electrical maintenance teams by ensuring timely availability of required materials and tools.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
• Prepare logistics reports, inventory analyses, and performance metrics using MS Office tools.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives for warehouse layout, storage methods, and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Practical experience with warehouse management systems and CMMS.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock auditing, and procurement coordination.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to warehouse environments.
