Maintenance Engineer – Fire Fighting Pump Systems

About the role

Escalate Egypt is seeking a Maintenance Engineer specialized in firefighting pump systems for a full‑time, on‑site position in Cairo. The role focuses on safeguarding commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects by ensuring fire pump reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on horizontal split case, vertical turbine, and end suction fire pumps.
• Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and execute repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure all work meets UL‑listed and FM‑approved standards.
• Oversee maintenance operations, coordinate with teams, and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably with fire protection pumping systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Fire pump maintenance and preventive maintenance practices.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair of system components.
• Knowledge of UL/FM standards and fire protection system compliance.
