Manager, Occupational Safety & Health

About the role

The Manager, Occupational Safety & Health will lead the hotel’s health and safety program, ensuring a safe work environment for all associates. You will assess risks, enforce compliance with safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular hazard and risk assessments, including quarterly OSHA audits and incident tracking.
• Prepare and submit Workplace Risk Assessment Reports and bi‑annual occupational health and safety reports to the Labor Protection and Welfare Office.
• Investigate accidents and health‑related complaints, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
• Monitor ventilation, lighting, exhaust systems, and other environmental factors that affect employee health.
• Develop, update, and communicate emergency response plans and fire‑prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, healthcare professionals, and the Occupational Health and Safety Committee to implement control measures.
• Ensure availability and proper maintenance of safety equipment, first‑aid supplies, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in occupational safety, preferably within hospitality or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of local labor protection regulations and international safety standards.
