Medical Delegate – Imbaba

About the role

The Medical Delegate will ethically detail Nestlé Infant Nutrition products across the Imbaba and Cairo South territories, ensuring healthcare professionals receive accurate, compliant information about infant feeding options when breastfeeding is not possible.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Nestlé’s stance that breastfeeding is the best option for infants and provide balanced information on infant formula when needed.
• Deliver product and nutrition details to medical and paramedical contacts, becoming a trusted advisor.
• Organise and support scientific meetings, product‑knowledge sessions, and guest‑lecturer events.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date master list of contacts, classify them by interest and importance, and complete regular call cards.
• Monitor competitor activities, new products, and communication strategies, reporting findings to the Medical Field Manager.
• Keep accurate records of all correspondence and actions.
• Ensure strict compliance with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast‑Milk Substitutes, Nestlé instructions, and local regulations, including avoiding direct advice to pregnant women or mothers in a business capacity.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience as a Medical Delegate, preferably in pediatrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Fluency in English (preferred).
• Ability to travel extensively within remote areas.
• Valid driving licence.
• Residency in Imbaba, Faissal, Boulk or Mohandessein is preferred.
