Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to support employee well‑being at our 6th of October City plant and Cairo Business Office. The role combines preventive and curative health services, health promotion, and emergency response within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Health Physician with pre‑employment, periodic medical examinations and occupational health tests (audiometry, lung function, spirometry, vision, skin prick).
• Plan and deliver health awareness trainings, first‑aid, basic life support with AED, industrial hygiene and safe food handling sessions.
• Implement vaccination programmes, health diagnostic campaigns and ergonomic assessments.
• Conduct monthly workplace inspections, mock drills and manage the emergency medical plan.
• Review and manage sickness‑absence cases, coordinate referrals and maintain medical records.
• Schedule and perform health surveillance for employees exposed to specific hazards (e.g., forklift drivers, confined spaces).
• Ensure respirator medical clearance, post‑exposure prophylaxis procedures and travel‑related medical advice.
• Participate in health risk and needs analysis for the site.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with specialization or experience in occupational health.
• Compassionate, able to work in multidisciplinary teams with HS&E, HR and management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle emergency situations.
