Operational Excellence & Digitalization Director

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Excellence & Digitalization Director to lead continuous improvement and digital transformation across our plant functions. The role will drive productivity, efficiency and value creation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and run a Site PMO to support program and project execution, monitor risks and align initiatives with strategic goals.
• Lead the Operational Excellence program, identifying and delivering process improvement projects across all functions.
• Develop organizational capabilities for flexible, high‑performance operations focused on efficiency, customer service and competitiveness.
• Manage and mentor direct and indirect teams to deliver improvement projects and sustain performance improvement growth.
• Identify capacity constraints, plan and implement infrastructure investments to support future business requirements.
• Define measurement and reporting systems to track efficiencies gained from improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach and certify process improvement teams to achieve OE certification levels locally and globally.
• Deploy OE tools and methodologies consistently and promote best‑practice sharing across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement or digital transformation within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale improvement projects and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to influence mindsets, behaviors and management infrastructure to embed world‑class operating standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
