Performance Marketing Executive

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven Performance Marketing Executive to own and grow our organic and paid search channels. The role focuses on delivering qualified traffic, improving visibility and maximising ROI across SEO and Google Ads, without any social media responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display and Performance Max.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and ongoing technical SEO audits.
• Implement on‑page and technical SEO improvements in collaboration with developers.
• Build and manage link‑acquisition strategies and outreach programmes.
• Write and refine ad copy, landing‑page copy and meta content.
• Set up and manage Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking and goal configuration.
• Report weekly and monthly on traffic, rankings, CTR, CPC, ROAS and leads.
• Manage advertising budget to meet cost‑per‑acquisition targets.
• Collaborate with the content team to align SEO strategy with editorial output.
• Monitor algorithm updates and adapt strategy accordingly.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a dedicated SEO and/or paid‑search role.
• Proficient in Google Ads, especially Search and Shopping campaigns.
• Strong grasp of technical SEO, including crawlability, schema markup and Core Web Vitals.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make decisions.
• Excellent written English for ad copy and on‑page content.
• Google Ads certification is desirable.
