Primary School Music Teacher (Part-time)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Primary School Music Teacher to join King’s School The Crown in Cairo on a part‑time basis starting August 2026. You will deliver the British curriculum music programme to KS1 and KS2 pupils, fostering creativity and musical appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured music lessons for Years 1‑2.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Assess pupil progress using a variety of strategies and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote the school’s ethos of integrity, respect and love of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues across subjects to share best practices.
• Participate actively in wider school life and events.

Required profile

• Experience teaching music within a British curriculum primary setting.
• Ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to professional development and collaborative work.
