Production Engineer – HVAC Duct Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to lead the manufacturing of HVAC duct components in our plant. The role ensures timely delivery, high quality, cost efficiency, and safe operations to meet project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement production plans aligned with project schedules to meet targets.
• Supervise daily duct fabrication activities including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
• Monitor workforce productivity and machine utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Optimize material, labor, and machine use to reduce waste and costs.
• Coordinate material availability with procurement and vendors.
• Introduce improved manufacturing techniques and standardized process controls.
• Ensure fabricated ducts meet measurements, finishing, and assembly standards.
• Work with Quality Control for inspections and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with shipping/logistics to dispatch completed ducts on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with shop drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Monitor machine condition, report technical issues, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting workflow to minimize downtime.
• Enforce HSE policies and ensure staff awareness of risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC duct fabrication or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork fabrication processes.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality standards.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
