Revenue & Reservations Manager

About the role

The Revenue & Reservations Manager will drive the financial success of Portaluna’s first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt by maximizing room revenue and optimizing occupancy. This position is critical during both the pre‑opening phase and ongoing operations, working closely with multiple departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue management strategies for the launch phase to maximize initial occupancy and revenue.
• Set up and test revenue management and property management systems (PMS) to ensure readiness at opening.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align pre‑opening sales and booking strategies.
• Train the reservations team on systems, upselling, and guest service protocols prior to opening.
• Continuously analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to optimize pricing.
• Manage daily reservations operations, ensuring efficient and accurate booking processes.
• Monitor KPIs such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with OTAs and GDS platforms for optimal distribution and visibility.
• Generate regular revenue reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Lead, train, and mentor the reservations team, fostering a collaborative culture focused on revenue goals.
• Support brand positioning by aligning revenue and reservation activities with the lifestyle and guest experience standards.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
• Deep understanding of the local Egyptian market.
• Experience in revenue management and reservations operations, preferably in a pre‑opening environment.
