Senior Architect – Working Drawings & Revit

About the role

Elgabaly Architects is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the creation of detailed working drawings and BIM models using Revit. The role involves translating client concepts into comprehensive construction documents while ensuring compliance with regulations and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage design projects from concept through to completion, defining requirements and schedules.
• Interpret client needs and develop rough plans, detailed working drawings, and full‑detail construction documents.
• Research and select materials, products, and finishes, providing colour palettes, lighting, and interior selections.
• Supervise progress, review architectural and engineering plans, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior designers, overseeing site plans, permit drawings, and design‑build documentation.
• Prepare and review preliminary designs, specifications, foundation plans, floor plans, and renderings.
• Liaise with clients to address issues promptly and secure approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in architectural design and documentation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and supervise junior staff.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and health‑safety regulations.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Competence with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and MS Office.
• Experience producing working drawings, permit sets, and BIM models.
