Senior Purchasing Executive

About the role

The Senior Purchasing Executive will support Raya Electric’s manufacturing operations by managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, and maintaining accurate procurement documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in obtaining and studying comparative prices and quotations.
• Initiate contact with vendors to verify supply availability, invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
• Detect, research, and resolve purchasing issues such as incorrect orders, invoices, and shipments.
• Create purchase orders and monitor requisitions for accuracy.
• Administer contracts, handle adjustments, and manage material replacements, order cancellations, and credit receipts.
• Maintain vendor database, bidder lists, and related documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure raw material delivery on time, preventing production stoppages.
• Compile, maintain, and file physical and computerized reports, including auditable accounting records.
• Adhere to SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices, and 5S standards, ensuring hygiene and housekeeping in the work area.

Required profile

• Very good knowledge of manufacturing systems.
• Advanced negotiation skills and a strong supplier network.
• Understanding of Raya Business Code of Conduct, Mission, Vision, and Strategy.
