Senior Software Engineer (Python) – AI Automation

About the role

VOIS is looking for a Backend AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver next‑generation automation solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI. The role focuses on building Python‑driven, cloud‑native systems that integrate Large Language Models, APIs and enterprise platforms at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and optimise Python‑based backend solutions with emphasis on scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Design and implement AI‑enabled automation solutions that combine traditional automation with Generative AI and LLM capabilities.
• Build, secure and maintain reusable APIs to enable seamless integration across enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with local AI developers and cross‑functional stakeholders to create effective AI‑driven automation architectures.
• Apply robust system design principles to deliver modular, scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Leverage enterprise automation and orchestration tools to automate workflows and embed AI capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while promoting engineering best practices.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, contributing to innovation roadmaps across AI, cloud and automation domains.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of hands‑on Python development experience building automation and AI‑enabled services.
• Proficiency with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning and inference optimisation.
• Experience designing, building and integrating APIs in enterprise and cloud environments.
• Background in developing cloud‑native applications on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI and LangChain.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, scalability and software design patterns.
• Experience with automation and orchestration platforms is a plus.
