Network & Telecom Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network & Telecom Engineer to install, configure and maintain wireless telecommunications equipment and two‑way radio networks at client sites across Egypt. The role involves on‑site technical support, documentation, and leading a team of technicians and drivers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain wireless telecommunications equipment and two‑way radio networks at client sites.
• Provide on‑site technical support and maintenance services across Egypt.
• Prepare documentation for site visits, installations, and support activities.
• Report and escalate network site problems.
• Lead and manage a team of technicians and drivers.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Communications Engineering.
• 0‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid networking certifications (CCNA required; CCNP or Fortinet/Palo Alto a plus).
• Strong documentation and writing skills.
• Leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Self‑confidence and a hard‑working attitude.

Required skills

• Configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN and QoS.
• Site survey and new site implementation.
• Knowledge of network security principles.
• Familiarity with Windows, Office and Outlook.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
