Senior Vice President, Financial Inclusion

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Vice President to lead Financial Inclusion initiatives for Mashreq in Egypt. The role will drive portfolio growth, digital transformation and revenue generation across multiple channels, working closely with product, digital, operations, risk, technology, marketing and distribution teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional strategic initiatives to deliver business outcomes.
• Generate revenue through portfolio growth, increased product penetration and optimisation of customer profitability.
• Transition service models to digital channels to expand the customer base and overall profits.
• Manage bank agents, third‑party partners and strategic alliances supporting the Financial Inclusion plan.
• Collaborate with RBG teams to deploy new product offerings and align the service model with the bank’s digital strategy.
• Monitor market performance and use data analytics to develop competitive product offerings.
• Guide business partners and technology groups to execute the Financial Inclusion strategy.
• Review and approve pricing changes, ensuring fair treatment of customers while growing revenue.
• Identify cross‑selling and product‑bundling opportunities for targeted segments.
• Analyse consumer insights to enhance customer experience.
• Develop a prioritized roadmap for product capabilities based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Drive new Financial Inclusion acquisition and ensure knowledge transfer to front‑line staff.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in banking or financial services, preferably at senior level.
• Strong track record of delivering portfolio growth and revenue generation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across product, digital, risk, technology and marketing functions.
• Experience managing third‑party relationships and strategic alliances.
• Analytical mindset with expertise in using data to inform product and market strategies.
