Solar Engineer

About the role

The Solar Engineer will join Cairo Contracting Company’s Heliopolis office to design and implement photovoltaic (PV) systems for a variety of construction projects. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering reliable solar power solutions that meet technical standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical and PV system designs for new and retrofit projects.
• Conduct site assessments, gather data, and evaluate feasibility of solar installations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to integrate solar solutions into overall construction plans.
• Ensure all designs comply with local and international safety regulations and industry standards.
• Support construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases by providing technical guidance.
• Analyse project specifications and recommend sustainable energy options.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in solar industry, particularly in PV and electrical design.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant certifications in solar energy systems are advantageous.
