System Administration & Application Delivery Manager

About the role

We are looking for a System Administration & Application Delivery Manager to own and lead the design, administration, stability and continuous improvement of our Windows‑based infrastructure and end‑user virtualization platforms. The role combines deep hands‑on technical work with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring engineers and driving secure, highly available services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration and advanced troubleshooting of Windows Server environments, including production and disaster‑recovery sites.
• Own Active Directory services – GPO design, domain hardening, FSMO roles, trust relationships and replication health.
• Administer DNS services to ensure high availability and correct name resolution.
• Manage Exchange Online and Exchange Edge servers – mail flow, connectors, transport rules, security and hybrid configurations.
• Design, implement and maintain Windows Failover Clustering and SQL Server high‑availability solutions (Always On, Failover Cluster Instance).
• Maintain IIS‑hosted applications, perform performance tuning and resolve incidents.
• Provide administration and operational support for Citrix CVAD (Virtual Apps & Desktops) environments, troubleshooting sessions, profiles and printing.
• Lead Windows patching strategy, remediate security vulnerabilities and ensure audit readiness.
• Act as technical escalation point, produce documentation, runbooks and SOPs, and participate in architecture reviews and DR drills.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote automation and standardisation.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Advanced expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS.
• Solid experience managing Exchange Online and Exchange Edge servers.
• Proven knowledge of Windows Failover Clustering and SQL Server high‑availability technologies.
• Experience with IIS, Citrix CVAD and Windows patch management.
• Ability to lead complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and mentor technical staff.
