System Administrator – Ansible & AWX Specialist

About the role

Klopotek is seeking a System Administrator to take ownership of existing Ansible runbooks, migrate them to Ansible Automation Platform (AWX) and integrate CheckMK‑based monitoring for automated remediation across Windows and Linux servers.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate and restructure production Ansible playbooks for execution in AWX.
• Configure and maintain AWX job and workflow templates, inventories, credentials and RBAC.
• Integrate CheckMK (or equivalent) alerts with automated Ansible responses.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including PowerShell scripting, WinRM configuration and Active Directory basics.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL/Oracle/Ubuntu), handling systemd, SELinux, networking and package management.
• Develop and maintain Bash and PowerShell scripts for production‑grade automation.
• Provide remote support, diagnose issues via event logs, performance counters and system logs.

Required profile

• Proven production experience with Ansible, including multi‑OS inventories and best‑practice playbook design.
• Hands‑on deployment and operation of AWX/Ansible Automation Platform in a production setting.
• Solid Windows Server administration background with PowerShell scripting and Ansible win_* module usage.
• Strong Linux system administration experience on RHEL/Oracle/Ubuntu platforms.
• Experience configuring and managing CheckMK, Nagios or Zabbix monitoring solutions.
