Account Manager - Manager

About the role

PwC is looking for a Manager to lead its account management capability, supporting a portfolio of clients and delivering a defined suite of account management services. The role works directly with clients, mainly in procurement, and contributes to the Priority Client Programme. It sits in the Sales and Marketing function, alongside a Senior Manager, and shares best practice with a team of account management specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Create an account cadence so that firmwide account teams are aligned on client priorities and strategy
• Bring discipline and structure to account teams through management information, market insight, knowledge sharing and meeting preparation
• Support internal networks (e.g. Commercial Excellence, Risk, Finance) to build expertise across the client portfolio
• Own timely client reporting, including regulatory reporting, working with Integrated Services for accuracy and consistency
• Support value reports and other client-facing collateral
• Act as subject matter expert on account excellence technology (e.g. Salesforce) and keep data accurate and clean in Salesforce
• Track client stakeholder changes and maintain governance of contact records and outreach cadence
• Drive client feedback and turn it into actionable insights for account teams

Required profile

• Proven track record in customer service, account management and sales in a competitive B2B environment
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders and creative communicator
• Proactive self-starter who can manage a personal portfolio while working in a team
• Understanding of sales methodologies and CRM platforms; Salesforce knowledge is an advantage
