Accountant – Egypt Plant

About the role

The Accountant will lead the full financial and regulatory process for the new Egypt plant, from company registration to daily bookkeeping and tax compliance. This role supports the headquarters by ensuring stable financial operations, proper fund management, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage company registration, licensing, and agent supervision during plant setup.
• Oversee bank account opening, fund management, and daily finance operations.
• Ensure tax compliance, filing, and liaison with local authorities.
• Prepare and maintain finance statements and internal control documentation.
• Support headquarters with bookkeeping, fund allocation, and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience; auditing, Egypt finance, plant setup, or licensing experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax, commercial and labor regulations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Chinese language is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work independently and coordinate with local agents and authorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with finance software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
