Accountant – Finance Operations for Events Agency

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join JUKUMO’s finance team. You will support the agency’s events and production activities by handling day‑to‑day financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and issue client invoices for events, productions and ongoing services.
• Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances and handle collections.
• Process vendor payments and maintain supplier accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and keep accurate financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses and profitability together with account managers and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations such as VAT and withholding tax.
• Support financial forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and financial reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0‑4 years of accounting experience, preferably in an agency, events or creative environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
