Accountant IV – Tax & VAT

About the role

The Accountant IV will manage all accounting transactions with a strong focus on tax compliance, VAT reporting and integration with the INFOR ERP system. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports audits, and advises management on tax implications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly VAT reports and analysis, ensuring timely payment to the Tax Authority.
• Compile Form No. 41 for withholding tax and manage salary tax reports.
• Monitor the electronic invoicing portal and ensure proper integration with INFOR ERP.
• Resolve tax authority queries, manage tax inspections, and reconcile tax certificates.
• Assist in corporate income tax calculations, deferred tax, and preparation of tax return reports.
• Maintain fixed assets, inventory, and current liabilities records.
• Provide support during internal and external audits and prepare required tax documentation.
• Liaise with tax consultants, external service providers, and tax authorities as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax accounting, VAT reporting and compliance.
• Familiarity with Egyptian tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Ability to work with ERP systems, particularly INFOR.
• Strong analytical skills to reconcile tax data and prepare accurate reports.
• Effective communication with internal teams and external tax authorities.
