Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage all financial transactions related to our real‑estate projects. You will be responsible for recording sales, monitoring installment schedules, handling supplier payments and ensuring the profitability of each development.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor sales contracts, reservation fees, down payments and installment schedules.
• Prepare and update customer aging reports, including overdue installments and penalties.
• Coordinate with Sales & CRM teams to validate contracts and resolve discrepancies.
• Track construction costs, subcontractor invoices, material purchases and other project‑related expenses.
• Review and verify supplier invoices, matching purchase orders, contracts and delivery notes.
• Prepare payment requests, follow approval workflows and maintain accounts‑payable aging reports.
• Conduct bank, customer and supplier reconciliations and support cash‑flow planning.
• Assist with withholding tax calculations and ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards and VAT.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and file contracts, invoices and receipts.
• Prepare monthly reports and verify ledger balances for accuracy and integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience in real‑estate accounting within Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards, VAT and withholding tax.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation techniques).
• Oracle ERP experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for record‑keeping.
