Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. This senior position oversees the accounting team, prepares comprehensive financial statements, and provides strategic financial insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Supervise, mentor and manage the accounting team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, guaranteeing timely payments and collections.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Perform bank and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor expenses, analyze variances and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Produce strategic financial reports for senior management.
• Implement and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Establish and enforce accounting policies, fiscal controls and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and company standards, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong command of English and excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP and IFRS.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AX accounting software.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Experience using SAP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
