Accounting Supervisor – Finance & Reporting

About the role

Hi-Tech Apparel is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the finance function for its Egypt entity. You will be responsible for month‑end and year‑end close, financial reporting, tax compliance and treasury activities while ensuring alignment with group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full month‑end and year‑end closing process for the Egypt entity.
• Prepare accurate monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements in line with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and IFRS.
• Consolidate and submit financial reports to Group HQ in Thailand on schedule.
• Ensure timely filing of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and payroll tax, and liaise with the Egyptian Tax Authority.
• Oversee intercompany billing, foreign‑currency exposure and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Design and enforce internal control policies, supervise accounts payable/receivable and maintain the general ledger.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly re‑forecasts and variance analysis.
• Mentor and develop the local accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of Egyptian tax law, EAS and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Experience in a manufacturing or garment industry, preferably within a multinational group.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of IFRS reporting.
