Accounting Supervisor – Finance Team Lead

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will lead the accounting team in New Cairo, ensuring accurate daily accounting operations, timely financial closes, and compliance with IFRS and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documents before posting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare management reports.
• Monitor and reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure proper accounting for inventory, fixed assets, and coordinate with Costing and Operations teams.
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and follow‑up on audit findings.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage workflow under strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills for cross‑departmental coordination.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems.
