Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

Wood Couture is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its Finance team in Giza, Egypt. The role requires immediate availability and focuses on processing logistics‑related invoices and ensuring compliance with Egyptian accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier, freight, transportation, customs, warehousing and logistics‑related invoices accurately and on time.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, shipping documents and contracts.
• Prepare payment schedules and coordinate supplier payments according to approved credit terms.
• Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and resolve outstanding balances.
• Prepare AP aging reports and track outstanding liabilities and logistics‑related accruals.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and maintain accurate AP records for audit and tax purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant Accounts Payable or Finance experience, preferably with logistics, freight or customs invoices.
• Good knowledge of Egyptian tax and accounting regulations and fluent English communication skills.
