AI/ML Developer Level II

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Developer Level II to join our Innovation & Software Solutions team. In this role you will design, develop, deploy and optimise enterprise‑grade conversational AI solutions using the RASA framework, Python and Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain conversational AI solutions with RASA Open Source and RASA Pro/X, including dialogue flows, NLU pipelines and custom actions.
• Train, evaluate and fine‑tune NLP models to improve intent recognition, entity extraction and overall chatbot performance.
• Build clean, scalable backend services and APIs in Python and deploy them on GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub and Vertex AI.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, model versioning and MLOps best practices.
• Analyse conversational data using BigQuery and manage training datasets and model artefacts in Cloud Storage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and software engineering best practices.
• Proven experience developing conversational AI solutions using RASA.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Solid understanding of NLP concepts such as intent classification, entity recognition and dialogue management.
