Analytics Product Owner

About the role

The Analytics Product Owner will own the vision, prioritisation and delivery of analytics products that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the business. You will manage the analytics backlog, lead agile execution and ensure high‑quality, trustworthy insights align with strategic and near‑term needs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the analytics product backlog, translating business objectives into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise work based on business value, effort and risk, balancing strategic initiatives with urgent needs.
• Lead agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and manage work in JIRA, including ticket creation, dependency tracking and status updates.
• Partner with product, engineering, marketing, finance and operations stakeholders to gather requirements and set realistic expectations.
• Ensure analytics deliverables are accurate, documented and usable, removing blockers and driving continuous improvement of workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Analytics Product Manager or Project Manager in an analytics, data or SaaS environment.
• Strong experience running agile ceremonies and managing delivery for analytics or data teams.
• Ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for analytics work.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• JIRA for backlog and dependency management.
• Power BI (or comparable BI tool) for dashboard updates.
• Databricks familiarity.
• Git version‑control experience.
