Android Engineer

About the role

Henkel is seeking a Mobile Engineer with strong expertise in Android (Kotlin) and React Native to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality consumer‑facing mobile applications. You will work in a collaborative, hybrid environment, leveraging modern architectures and AI‑assisted tools to deliver performant, secure, and user‑friendly apps.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and cross‑platform solutions with React Native.
• Implement clean architecture, design patterns, and best engineering practices.
• Build reusable components shared across Android and iOS platforms.
• Integrate mobile apps with cloud services, backend APIs, authentication, analytics, and third‑party platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision‑making, and peer code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release processes, and app‑store deployments.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong expertise in Android development with Kotlin.
