Application Development Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Application Development Specialist to design, build, and maintain software solutions that meet client objectives and user needs. You will work closely with sales, customers, and internal teams to translate requirements into functional applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new applications and enhance existing ones to improve functionality and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform extensive testing to ensure error‑free delivery.
• Install applications, verify communication between equipment and systems, and maintain associated databases.
• Act as a technical advisor for all departments and serve as the resident expert on our products.
• Collaborate with the sales department to identify technical requirements and propose solutions.
• Determine project constraints, including estimated time and cost.
• Gather user feedback, analyze experience, and customize applications to client specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience as an applications engineer or in a similar development role.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work across interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with ETL tools (Talend is a plus).
• Proficiency in data analytics tools.
• Software development and coding capabilities.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring applications.
