Architect Designer Engineer – New Cairo

About the role

Sorouh Developments is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect Designer Engineer to join its New Cairo office. You will create architectural concepts, detailed designs and construction drawings for residential and mixed‑use projects that align with the company’s vision and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, designs and detailed drawings for new developments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, consultants and contractors to ensure design integration.
• Verify compliance with local regulations, building codes and sustainability guidelines.
• Oversee coordination of structural, MEP and software‑driven building systems.
• Support project planning, resolve design‑related issues during construction, and participate in project meetings.
• Prepare documentation, presentations and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in architecture and design principles with solid technical standards.
• Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling and delivery oversight.
• Hands‑on experience in construction processes and methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Previous experience in a senior architectural role within real estate or construction.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication and leadership abilities.
