Architectural Designer

About the role

The Architectural Designer will bridge architecture and engineering to create structurally sound, efficient, and sustainable building solutions for our historic luxury hotel projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet all regulatory and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to develop comprehensive building designs.
• Design and analyze building systems, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD/BIM tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and verify compliance.
• Perform cost estimates, feasibility studies, and value‑engineering analyses.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods.
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, PE or EIT certification, LEED experience, and background in commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
