Architecture Technical Office Engineer – Commercial Projects

About the role

Meraki Fine Finishes is looking for an Architecture Technical Office Engineer to join its team in Dokki, Giza. You will be responsible for producing and reviewing detailed architectural shop drawings and supporting the design and construction phases of commercial and office projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update architectural shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other disciplines to ensure design consistency and resolve technical issues.
• Verify that drawings and project documents comply with building codes, regulations and project requirements.
• Assist in developing construction details, material specifications and technical solutions.
• Provide technical support to project teams during design and construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in an architectural technical office, preferably on commercial and office projects.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced AutoCAD (2D drafting and detailing).
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for BIM modeling and clash detection (plus).
• Excellent MS Excel skills for quantity surveying and schedule tracking.
• Expertise in creating detailed shop drawings for masonry layout, finishes, reflected ceiling plans, waterproofing and façade/cladding systems.
• Knowledge of building and finishing materials, interior fit‑outs and construction methodologies.
• Ability to perform accurate material take‑offs, compare with BOQ and support cost control.
